Use in Cancer

Mechlorethamine hydrochloride is approved to be used for palliative treatment of:

• Bronchogenic carcinoma.

• Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

• Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).

• Hodgkin lymphoma that is advanced.

• Malignant pleural effusion, malignant pericardial effusion, and malignant peritoneal effusion.

• Mycosis fungoides (a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma).

• Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).

Mechlorethamine hydrochloride is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
