- Bronchogenic carcinoma.
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
- Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).
- Hodgkin lymphoma that is advanced.
- Malignant pleural effusion, malignant pericardial effusion, and malignant peritoneal effusion.
- Mycosis fungoides (a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma).
- Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).
Mechlorethamine hydrochloride is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
